Go to https://app.atera.com/login and enter your email and password. By default, Atera uses the “Basic” login method, but enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) is strongly recommended.
Click Forgot Password on the login page, enter your email, and follow the instructions. You’ll receive a reset email from [email protected] . If you still can’t log in, contact Atera support via chat or email.
Auth0 adds multiple security layers, including bot detection, breached password alerts, brute-force protection, and risk-based login monitoring. These features help prevent unauthorized access and alert you if suspicious activity occurs.
Atera enforces logout after 24 hours of inactivity or 7 days of continuous use. The app will notify you several times before logging you out for security reasons.
- Try logging in again from a familiar device and network (one you have successfully used before).
- Check your inbox. Account admins receive an email with details about the flagged login attempt (including the IP, user, and location).
